Grassland, Moorland and Heathland
Grasslands, moorland and heathlands are all open spaces often made up of low growing plants and grasses. Moorlands are traditionally types of grassland found at higher altitudes often with more acidic soils. Heathlands often have moany other low growing plants, like heather, gorse and brooms.
