Seals
There are two types of seal that are found around the British Isles, the common (harbour) seal and the grey seal. Britain is home to 36% of the worlds population of grey seals.

On this page is a selection of photos of seals that have been taken from around England. They are at various stages of life from hour old grey seal pups to the old bulls and females sleeping on the beaches and rocky shores. The majority have been taken at a respectful distance in the breeding colonies at Horsey Gap in Norfolk or Donna Nook in Lincolnshire but some may have been taken at other locations around the British coastline
